Star Wars 20-Back Han Solo
Pictured here is the Han Solo figure packed onto a French 'La guerre des étoiles' 20-back square card.

The firstname of the figure was changed from HAN to YAN for the whole french market to match pronunciation. The 'LARGE' head figure was introduced with the square card format starting in 1979, while the earlier 'small head' was only found on 12-back cards.

Because of their cheap quality, seeing a mint Meccano card like this one is always a delight...

This packaging was used in France on the same card format from 1979 to 1982, unlike some other countries, Meccano kept releasing Star Wars characters on Star Wars (GDE) square cards even during the Empire line.
