| This early mock-up for the remote-controlled R2-D2 toy includes a rather amusing control device, crudely thrown together with what appears to be calculator buttons. The joystick control is also a diversion from the final toy, although this may have simply been thrown together for the photograph. This is one of several such 8x10 photos recently surfacing in Los Angeles. |
