Boba Fett Production, Test Paint and Unpainted Figures
Shown here is a series of figures for the Boba Fett Micro Collection figure that was included in the Bespin Freeze Chamber Playset. This figure started out at 4 times this scale, as evidenced by the 4-up paint master. Then these pieces would have continued with the production process along with this Hand Painted 1:1 figure. The figure on the far left is a production figure. The next piece is a test paint. These were likely used to get the overall paint scheme in place before the final colors were choosen. Pieces like this are very interesting as they often differ from the final colors. In this case a white Boba Fett is strikingly different from the blue armored version we all know. Lastly, we have an unpainted production quality figure.

You can see how carefully these figures were painted by the detail included on the back of the figures shown in this second picture. When all is said and done, this figure would have been included in Bespin Freeze Chamber Playset and the Bespin World Playset.
