| Glasslite Droids CMYK Cardback Separations | |
| Pictured here is a set of Glasslite Droids black and white CYMK cardback separations called "fotolitos".
This Droids set contains 8 sheets (measuring about 8x10), 4 for the front and 4 for the back, each representing one of the 4 major color separations - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black.
Each sheet is essentially a clear transparency like one would use on an overhead projector. The POTF fotolito image shown above illustrates this characteristic nicely.
These "fotolitos" were used in the actual printing of the Glasslite Droids cardback and are a rare glimpse into the cardback creation process of a foreign licensee.
Most of these photos were taken with a white sheet of paper as the background so the black and white detail would be apparent. |
