| Featured here is an ESB 47-back proof card
for Bossk, the bounty hunter. This particular cardback announces the 4-LOM promotion, which took place
during the ESB-era. Proof card collecting represents one popular segment in the
pre-production collecting niche. The packaging design found on vintage blister cards is second to none
and proof cards offer an unobstructed view of the entire card front.
Above you see a rear image of the proof card. This piece differs slightly from the standard proof card as it exhibits rounded bottom corners as opposed to square ones. Keen eyes may also discover the lack of a punch area. These difference have sometimes led collectors to further distinguish these cards with the designation of "sample cards".
