Rebel Blockade Runner (B+W)

Here it is, one of the most famous (and rarely seen) of the unreleased toy prototypes. It appears to be a completely plastic toy and not a cardboard mock-up. This is an overall view, but other details were photographed as well. This would have been part of the Return of the Jedi line but something kept it from being a reality. You can judge the scale of this toy by comparing it to the Luke Bespin figure poised by the radar dish. It surely would have been a fantastic toy, especially when you read all of its functions: Blockade Runner Rebel vehicle from Star Wars and Return of the Jedi. Opening cockpit Manually operated front laser cannons. Escape pod jettisons and accomodates R2-D2 and C-3PO. Moveable radar dish also accomodates one action figure. Battery operated rear cannons and engine lights. Ages 4 and up. Case Pack: 4
