| Here are two hand-drawn marker and colored-pencil concept renderings
of the unproduced Jabba
Dungeon Playset from Kenner's Micro Collection. These renderings show most
of the features visible on the prototype model of the playset.
It even features the spiral staircase shown in the blueprints and if you look carefully you'll notice the tentacle in the left hand window that is shown clearly in the recent Jabba Dungeon photography to have surfaced.
This of course is a close-up of the back of the playset. Note the inclusion of the torture rack detailed in the blue prints. This would have been one cool set. It's a shame really that some of these great playsets weren't created. However, pieces like this continue to surface and give collectors insight into what could have been. |
