| Exactly just what this item is, is a little hard to determine. Like many, many prototype items no formal paperwork was available to describe its intended use. It's definitely an original piece of artwork and a rendition of the scene on Tatooine where Luke and Ben aid a damaged C-3PO. One can only guess what it may have been created for although its drawn at the ratio that most of the figure backing cards were done in. Notice that the characters are off to the right of center which would be indicative of a movie figuure rather than a cartoon figure. It might have been an early Power of the Force concept. Unless this was an early concept for the upcoming Droids figures. Maybe it was for the Droids C-3PO. Your guess is as good as mine on this one though. |
