Conceptual Yoda Hand Puppet
This image, a piece of Kenner file photography once featured in a German advertisement, depicts an early version of the Yoda Hand Puppet. As you can see, it bears little resemblance to later prototypes of this toy or to the final production version, which was "roto-cast" in a pliant, rubbery material and left hollow within.

Though its impossible to say with any certainty what this one is made of, its quite likely that it was cast in a solid urethane and could not function as a "puppet" at all. If one thing is certain, its that this is one funky-looking toy and it represents yet another example of Kenner promotional photography not matching up to the finished product.
