Preschool Ewoks Paint Masters | |
This set of preschool Ewoks pieces is quite an unbelievable find. It contains several hand-painted paint master ewok alog with swatches to serve as a guide for matching colors on factory equipment. Wicket is pictured above alongside the paint swatches
for all the colors used for the figure.
Princess Kneesa (above) has different colors and lacks the plastic white stand that Wicket has. Interestingly enough, these preschool toys have more numerous and vibrant colors than their action figure counterparts.
The Baga is the ewok horse, and it too is represented here as a hand-painted hard copy & swatch.
Big Momma (above) as they caller her, also has the stem from the bottom similar to Wicket. My best guess is that this is used to hold the figure while the artist paints it on all sides for the paint master.
Here are some painted hard copies of Ewok bongo drums and a seesaw. No swatches turned up for these, although presumably they were made.
The "lovable" Gwig (who is mislabelled "Giwg" on the swatches) is the smallest of the paint masters from this set. All of these figures were found in the assorted Preschool Ewoks playsets. |
