| Luke X-wing Preliminary Coin Art | |
| This design for the Luke X-Wing coin was the first to actally be produced in aluminum, as a rather small test coin that was manufactured in some quantity before the released coins went into production. This sketch looks exactly like this test coin. It also looks just like the larger Luke X-Wing coin that came attached to POTF releases of the figure, with one important exception: the Saturn-like ringed planet seen just to the left of the character's head was elminated in the time between the creation of the test and release versions of the coin.
