| The primary ways in which the production Obi-Wan coin differs from this early sketch occur with respect to the text. Whereas the upper-rim text in the drawing refers to the character as Ben Kenobi, the actual coin calls him Obi-Wan. Additionally, the lower-rim text appears on the coin as Jedi Master rather than Jedi Knight.
