| Although the character image featured in this drawing is virtually the same as the one used on the production coin, the background was changed substantially. Whereas the drawing shows Jabba's Sail Barge in the background, the coin replaces it with a wall from the interior of Jabba's palace. (Interestingly, the Sail Barge became the background for the Boba Fett coin).
The other major modification ocurred with respect to the text on the lower edge of the piece. The drawing calls Amanaman an "Alien Guard"; this text was later dropped altogether and does not appear on the production coin. The released version of this coin can be seen here. |
