Blockade Runner Product Concept Spec Sheet (closeup)

Here it is, one of the most famous (and rarely seen) of the unreleased toy prototypes. It appears to be a completely plastic toy and not a cardboard mock-up. It is part of an overall view used in the product spec sheet, but other details were photographed as well. This would have been part of the Return of the Jedi line but something kept it from being a reality. You can judge the scale of this toy by comparing it to the Luke Bespin figure poised by the radar dish. It surely would have been a fantastic toy, especially when you read all of its functions: Blockade Runner Rebel vehicle from Star Wars and Return of the Jedi. Opening cockpit Manually operated front laser cannons. Escape pod jettisons and accomodates R2-D2 and C-3PO. Moveable radar dish also accomodates one action figure. Battery operated rear cannons and engine lights. Ages 4 and up. Case Pack: 4
