| And you thought Mego made the only Boss Hog action figure. Actually, this is something called a Governor Koong. It's funny how I know the names of these Droids and Ewoks figures, even though I've never seen the cartoon they're based on. That's collecting, I guess. But I digress-- there's no denying the rarity or flat-out coolness of this piece. Unproduced Droids figures are terribly difficult to find, and they're real treats to see whenever they turn up.
Here's the back. Notice that small indent on the left side of the belt. Since this is a hardcopy, it probably is a bubble that found its way into the urethane material while it was hardening. Such defects are typical of hand made prototypes. |
