Darth Vader Screamin' Model Original Artwork
The prototypes in this series are all original artwork, layouts, and proof sheet for the Screamin' Model Company's line of Star Wars models released in the early nineties. These represent some of the first prototypes to emerge from the "Dark Years" of Star Wars collecting - the period between the demise of Kenner's action figure line and the release of the Heir to the Empire novel.

Shown here is the original ink artwork for the Darth Vader kit. This artwork was used for the instruction sheet layout pictured here. Both these pieces, as can be seen from the 3-3/4" figure pictured, are quite large.



Above you can see an exploded view of the model kit, again rendered in ink. The images below detail the hand and saber, showing how they go together during assembly.
