| I don't quite know what to call this piece. Is it an art sample for the Episode 1 blister card design? Is it a display of sorts, used to present the Episode 1 concept to Kenner's buyers? Whatever it is, it surely reflects the design of Kenner's Episode 1 packaging, which, as you can see, replaces the POTF2 image of Darth Vader in the upper left corner with that of Episode 1 baddie, Darth Maul.
This piece first surfaced in mid-1998. Here you see a full length photo of it. As you can see, it consists of what appear to be several uncut units. |
