| Proof cards have surfaced for every back variation made during the ESB years, from 21-backs to 48-backs. Here we have three examples of blister card proofs, all of which feature the back variation on which each of these character styles debuted--31-back in the case of Bossk; 32-back for the second, "looking" version of the Leia Bespin card; and the 45-back Luke Hoth, which features the Display Arena mail-away offer printed on its front.
ESB proofs have turned up in amounts greater than any other proof type other than Revenge of the Jedi, a fact which has made them very collectible among the many fans Empire collectibles seem to have. |
