| This R2-D2 prototype is quite different from the production piece.
This piece is handpainted with no copyright info.
The internal sculpting in totally different. The button, internal mechanism and back door seems to be a first crude attempt. Pieces do not fit properly, alot of space where button is, and movement nof mechanism is very sloppy.
The inside of the compartment is also lacking details. It seems like this was a first attempt for mechanics only. The plans are actually photographs with no titles printed on them as the production pieces were. |
