Seriously, Jim tells me that these figures were used at Canada's version of Toy Fair sometime back in the early '80s. Apparently, Kenner used such glued-together carded figures as decorative trim for their Toy Fair booths, a fact which accounts for the Canadian figures with ripped cards that seem to turn up on the market with a fair degree of frequency. |
