Lumat Torso Unpainted Hardcopies | |
These two Lumat torsos are yet another indication of the production process detailed here, in which a bare hardcopy is employed in the sculpting in wax of a cowl or other accessory, and the subsequent creation of yet another hardcopy from the embellished piece. As you might be able to see in this photo, the Lumat torso at left actually bears the faint indications of the shoulder pouch and cowl, which were at one time sculpted over its contours in wax. At right, the cowled figure represents a later hardcopy stage--its the hardcopy reproduction of the piece with the sculpted cowl. |
