| POTF Storage Case Artwork | |
| More and more prototypes seem to be showing up with the Power of the Force logo on them. This is another example of what could have been. The logo is actually a mechanical reproduction and is cut and pasted onto the artwork here. This would have been nice collector's case except figures like Amanaman and Han Solo in Carbonite Chamber, which were exclusive to the POTF line, would not have fit in the standard trays that were probably planned for this case. It would have been interesting to see if Kenner acknowledged this size problem with some clever solution like they sometimes did.
This artwork was used for the very limited ROTJ collector's case. In this mockup, the POTF logo is placed over the same original artwork. This art can also be seen in the Topps Galaxy II card set. |
