Snowspeeder Photoart
These two shots showcase a piece of photoart (photographic elements combined with air-brushed paint), which was used to generate an image from the front of the box to one of the rarest Micro Collection toys, the snowspeeder. I believe this was intended to be used as the insert image from the upper left corner of the package; it would have served to display the figures and demonstrate the break-apart feature of the toy. However, Kenner ended up showing only the two figures in that insert, meaning they dumped the snowspeeder portion of this photoart. You can get a sense of the scale of the piece by referring to the dime in the lower right corner.

In this close-up, you might be able to see that the snowspeeder element of the piece is actually a cut-out, which has been pasted onto the yellow background. Both the snowspeeder and the two pilot figures have also been enhanced through the application of painted highlights.
