Wood Pattern for 12
This is the orignal cherry wood pattern used to create the blaster accessory that was packaged with the large size Han Solo figure. It's composed of several components, all precisely carved and fit together. It's shown beside the production version of the gun in order to demonstrate its relatively large size-- it is a full two times larger than the accessory that was eventualy released (both items are shown at actual size).

Here you see the opposite side. Those lighter colored spots that can be detected on different areas of the piece are areas of putty, used as filler when the pattern was damaged during the creation of tooling masters.

This last photo, taken within Kenner while the toy was being developed, illustrates the scale of the pattern.
