| This is a sign off sample of the Droids C-3PO coin. This coin is in a Kenner bag and has a
small index card stapled to it.
As shown in the photo above, the card provides important information like the item name, vendor, project engineer, date, quality engineer, date and comments. Since this piece is a sign off sample only the quality engineer singed off on it. The most interesting aspect of this piece is that it clearly states: "Both new & old coins can be used on production." Apparently the coin variation wasn't a mistake, but rather a conscious decision by someone at Kenner. |
