| Sometimes certain pieces show up that make you realize that there are many uncharted areas of vintage Star Wars collecting. This is one such piece. For many in the collecting community, it was the first time they had seen a boxed trilogo X-Wing. It is surprising that not many examples of these exist, considering the X-Wing was arguably Kenner's most key vehicle in the Star Wars line. In fact, it was even supposed to be reissued in POTF packaging had the line continued. All in all, I don't think you have to be a trilogo collector to appreciate the sheer rarity of this piece. |
