Episode I Pit Droid Maquette
This is one of the most striking cast and crew items ever made for a Star Wars film. This pit droid maquette was made for select crew members involving the filming and production of The Phantom Menace. It is handmade with extreme fine detail and cast off the original maquette used in designing the characters from Episode I.

From the side and back views you can see some of the detail that went into this piece. The Pit Droid is holding a tool in one hand. The joints are wired underneath the delicate exterior. There is a small plate on the back which explains how this item was cast off the original maquette used in the conceptual stage for Episode I.

With the glass cover removed, you can see some of the detail that went into paint along the front of the figure. Underneath is a label for The Phantom Menace.
