AT-AT Commander, Nein Nunb, Ben Kenobi and Imperial Gunner | |
On this page are featured a few Eastern European bootleg figures owned by collector Kim Zoll. First up is a non-articulated AT-AT Commander. The paint job on this one looks pretty good. More often than not these things are just beat to heck.
And here's Nein Nunb, Lando's trusty co-pilot in Return of the Jedi. This one, too, lacks articulation, and though the arms are correct, it appears to have the legs of an AT-AT Driver. This bootleg is truly disturbing to look at. Looks like an escapee of a home for former carnival freaks.
I'm not really sure what to say about this Ben, other than it represents an affront to any standard of aesthetic decency. Look at that black saber! And the silver beard! Boy oh boy, sometimes you really wonder what the producers of these bootlegs were thinking when they made them.
Last up is a gold Imperial Gunner that looks a lot like the carded one seen here. This one has Biker Scout arms and legs, and it looks to be articulated. |
