| Darth Vader and Blister Card | |
This ultra-cheesy Darth Vader figure was apparently made by the same manufacturer that produced the very similar figure of Yoda seen here. Like the Yoda, it is made from a type of plastic that is much softer than the brittle material used to make the other, more familiar type of Hungarian bootleg figure. Its basically a straight copy of Kenner's licensed Vader figure; but here the shaft molded into the left hand, which on the standard figure houses the retractable saber, is entirely closed off, appearing simply as a plastic stump. The cape is fairly interesting, too--its made of a heavy plastic material not unlike that used to make heavy-duty trash bags.
Here you see the card these came attached to. It's very similar to that which came with the aforementioned Yoda figure. |
