Yoda and Blister Card (Black)

Although American collectors have been familiar with one particular line of Hungarian bootleg figures for years, this Hungarian rendition of Yoda is virtually unknown outside of its country of origin. Like the most common variety of Hungarian figures, this Yoda was made from molds taken directly from licensed Kenner figures. But in this case, modifications were made to the mold as well. This is most evident in the area of the nose, which, on the Hungarian figure, looks just like a pig snout. Do you think this might be Yoda's Ugnaught love-child?

Here is the blister card that the Yoda came attached to. As you can see, its just a photo copy of the Kenner ESB Yoda blister, with a slight mofication made to the name plate.

Whereas the other variety of Hungarian figures was imported in some quantity by American dealers, these Yodas seem to have never found their way to U.S. shores. They're quite rare, even in Hungary.
