Original Concept Artwork for Unproduced Rebo Band Digital Clock by Bradley
This is the original concept artwork from 1982 for a small Rebo Band digital clock that was never produced by Bradley Time, Inc. The size of the paper is 8.5" x 11" and the coloring appears to be done with magic marker. Here the artist used a copy of the original illustration as a base to do his coloring so as to retain the original work in it's line-art state. This would allow the artist to recreate coloring schemes without redrawing the piece each time. The titleblock states that this is a Stick-Up LCD drawn at 200% scale meaning the product would have been half the size depicted here. The side view shows that this clock would have had a contoured front, not just a flat illustration.

The notations say the following:

  • Note: Characters & colors to be as approved by Lucasfilm, Ltd
  • Possible music function

Although Texas Instruments produced the first watches made for Star Wars, Bradley Time produced most of the time pieces for the original trilogy in the 1980's. Their products included clocks and watches both analog and digital. This piece of art was used for in-house reference and on the back is stamped:
