| And you thought that sitting through the entire Star Wars Holiday Special was dedication!! Joseph Yglesias has turned his passion for Star Wars imagery into the colorful piece of Trilogy-themed body art that you see pictured above. Only part of what will someday be a unified composition (his back is still in progress), Joe's side shows the final duel between Luke and Vader in the Emperor's throne room. Although this photo doesn't do the artwork justice, its really a beautiful piece, the colors and lines echoing classic comic book art, such as that of the old Marvel Star Wars series.
Judging from the popularity of both Star Wars and tattooing among many Gen-Xers, I'm sure there is a wealth of Trilogy body art adorning some of you folks out there. If you or someone you know has a Star Wars tattoo, please take a picture and send it to us. |
