Unproduced Yoda Wax Sculpting and 4-up Hardcopy
You see here, from left to right, a 4-up hardcopy and the original wax sculpting for an unproduced Micro Collection Yoda figure. This figure would have been included in one of the Dagobah playsets had all material relating to those sets not been cancelled. Each of these pieces is about 3" in height.

Here you see them from the back. You've no doubt noticed by now that the wax piece lacks its base. Often, parts of these sculptings would be cannibablized by sculptors when they needed wax with which to sculpt new items. They'd simply remove wax bit by bit from certain areas (in this case, the base) with a heated sculpting implement, and apply it to whatever they were working on. Of course, it's also possible that the base was simply broken off at some point.

In any event, the damage doesn't really diminish the coolness of the item. It is, after all, an original sculpting for an unproduced figure.
