| Conceptual Artwork for Micro Collection ROTJ Death Star | |
| Here's a conceptual rendering of the unproduced Death Star II playset from Kenner's Micro Collection. The painting shows most of the features visible on the prototype model of the playset. I've always thought that big radar dish was a bit hokey, but it probably was designed to shoot a projectile or something, and it would have given Kenner an excuse for including the Death Star Gunner figure that is believed to have been in development for this set.
Man, this would have been a neat playset! Can't you just imagine an Emperor figure sitting in front of that big window? |
