| Darth Maul and Obi Wan Kenobi Lightsabers | |
| These are examples of screen used stunt lightsabers from Episode 1.
The sabers were used by Ray Park (Darth Maul) and Ewan McGregor (Obi Wan Kenobi) in the Naboo fight scenes. Both sabers have resin based handles with metallic tubes (colored and coated). There are nicks in the tubes, which were made during the filming as the sabers made contact with one another. Note, the effects of the glowing energy were added by CGI artists at a later date and Obi Wan's saber tube was green because the scenes were shot on a blue screen. |
