Rebel Commander Unpainted 4-Up Hardcopy (463-012) | |
This is a 4-up for the Hoth Turret Defense incarnation of the Micro Collection Rebel Commander figure. Its cast in Dynacast urethane. That hole or dent you see on the base is the result of an air bubble having been trapped in the liquid urethane as it was hardening in the mold, a frequent occurence in this type of casting. Although it is not the case with this piece, such imperfections were characteristically filled with a tan-colored epoxy putty, and tan putty spots are frequently evident on the bases of these 4-ups.
This is an image of the figure's back. Although these Hoth figures are somewhat generic, the uniforms of the Rebels allow for some really interesting detailing. |
