Rebel Commander 4-up Hardcopy Paint Master (463-012) | |
Here we see a nice painted
4-up for the Rebel Commander.
This character and pose is found in the
Hoth Turret Defense playset. As the pictures
show, the prototype towers over its production counterpart. Another visually appealing characteristic of this piece
is the hand painting on the entire 4-up.
Finally, we see a very nice run that Alex has assembled featuring various portions of the process used to bring the production micro to life. In the background stands a conceptual art rendering of the character. This art likely represents the earliest rendition of this particular micro. Alex has framed the artwork for display purposes. To the right of the painted 4-up we see a matching unpainted 4-up. Painted and unpainted micros round out the group next to each 4-up. Yet another example of an unpainted 4-up from a different collection is located here. |
