Han Hoth Unpainted 4-up Hardcopy (463-010) | |
Here we see a dynamic Micro Collection 4-up of everyone's favorite Hoth outfitted smuggler, Han Solo. As evidenced by the accompanying 1:1 unpainted micro, the 4-up is much larger, 4 times larger in fact, than its production counterpart. The 4:1 scale of hardcopies associated with the Micro Collection provides them with the name 4-up. A six digit code in this case "463-010" indicates both the playset association and pose. The 463 portion of the code designates this 4-up as one found in the Hoth Turret Defense playset. The final 3 digits, 010, reference this particular version of Han Solo. The Hoth Wampa Cave contained a similar albeit more crouching stanced Han Solo figure, so it is fairly easy to see why unique reference numbers were needed to designate each figure and differentiate from the rest, and associate it with the respective playset. This 4-up is one of many fine ESB related prototypes found in Sandy's collection. |
