Luke Hoth Prototype Series: Unpainted & Paint Master 4-ups & 1:1 prototypes (269-004)
Above we see a dynamic prototype series from the Micro Collection line. This particular Luke pose (269-004) heralds from the Hoth Wampa Cave playset. The back row contains both painted and unpainted 4ups. The unpainted 4up is cast in a green urethane commonly referred to as dynacast, while the painted 4up is cast in a brown urethane called carbalon. As many prototype collectors know, the micro figures were sculpted at a 4:1 ratio explaining their immense size when compared to the production figures. This fact makes them incredibly impressive for display purposes.

The front row consists of various 1:1 prototypes to compliment the 4ups. From left to right we see: test paint figure, hand painted figure, production figure, and painted squeezing. Thanks to Jeff for sharing the photograph of this run.
