Chewbacca 4-up Unpainted & Paint Master Hardcopies (269-002) | |
Here's a nice series of prototype figures relating to the Chewbacca figure from the Micro Collection Hoth Wampa Cave playset. To the far right you see a painted production example of the figure, along with a white sample and an unpainted version. But the two big (literally and figuratively speaking) pieces are the two 4-up hardcopies that stand on the left. One is unpainted, the other is fully painted; it likely served as a paint master or photo sample. This painted example even includes the gun, a detail that's missing from the unpainted piece.
The three Chewie figures that were made for the Micro Collection really look nice in 4-up form. The detailing on the character's fur is especially attractive in this form. |
