Hoth Stormtrooper Unpainted 4-up Hardcopy (668-004) | |
The 4-up shown here relates to one of the five snowtroopers included in the Hoth Generator Attack playset. The corresponding number for the "firing from the shoulder" pose is 668-004. The "668" was used to correlate it to the particular playset, while the "004" designates the particular pose. You'll notice it is unpainted and is cast in a green urethane commonly referred to as Dynacast. Dynacast was the most prominent urethane used during the time period of the Micro Collection line, although some 4-ups have surfaced in carbalon, a brownish material, as well as one or two other resins. Micro figures were sculpted in a 4:1 scale, which accounts for the large size and the name "4up". I've included a production micro figure in the picture to show the size difference between the actual produced item and the 4-up. You can find the matching 4-up paintmaster here. |
