Star Wars 20-Back Power Droid
Pictured here is the Power Droid figure packed onto a French 'La guerre des Etoiles' Meccano square card.

Although both cards featured here bears the double-M 'MM' logo for 'MIRO-MECCANO' (merge between two companies), the trained collector's eye will notice they differs from another:
- The left one lacks the 'Miro-Meccano' mention (see blank area) under the MM logo - it's a 'GDE3' front and a Star Wars 20-back from 1980.
- The one on the right displays the 'Miro-Meccano' brand name under the 'MM' logo - it's a 'GDE4' front and an Empire Strikes Back 18-back, released on 1981.

Because of their cheap quality, seeing Meccano cards in such condition, especially for a SW 2nd wave figure is quite a delight and achievement...

This packaging was used in France on the same card format from 1979 to 1982, unlike some other countries, Meccano kept releasing Star Wars characters on Star Wars (GDE) square cards even during the Empire line.
