| Pictured here is the Death Star Droid figure packed onto a French 'La guerre des étoiles' 20-back square card.
This packaging was used in France on the same card format from 1979 to 1982, unlike some other countries, Meccano kept releasing Star Wars characters on Star Wars (GDE) square cards even during the Empire line. The DSD is part of the few figures among the 2nd SW wave which were issued by French Meccano licensee only on 20-back cards, they were not reissued on later ESB or ROTJ cards. |
