| 26.5x38.5, "Editions du Weekend" Poster #1. This is the first promotional poster (from a wave of 4) released by "Editions du Weekend" with the release of Return of the Jedi. It features French artist Michel Jouin's stunning artwork ordered especially from Lucasfilm for theater release in France. The significant difference with the theatrical version of the poster is that this one is the 'raw' illustration, it keeps a large blank area at the bottom (later replaced with movie credits) and lacks the large "Retour du Jedi" logo. This same artwork was used on very few material, such as novelization. This poster remained as a premium, it was not released as a theatrical version for theaters. |
