| This carded figure is a regular French 65-back from one of the first ROTJ series. You can say that because the ROTJ logo is really big on the card, leaving almost no space between the logo itself and the peg hole. Later French ROTJ 65-backs have a logo that is about 75 percent the size of this one. In contrast to early Meccano ROTJ cards, the Miro-Meccano logo did not appear on the reverse of the French 65-back; the company only receives a brief textual mention. French ROTJ cards where made with good quality. Unlike Tri-logos, each bubble was designed to the proportions of the action figure it was made for. However, the bubbles do not provide a plastic "bed" insert, nor were the weapons taped inside of them. Also note the copyright on the bottom right corner. It says "Fabriqué a Hong-Kong". This information varies depending on the release date of the card. "Made in hong-Kong" and "Fabriqué a Macau" can also be found. Moreover, this information was sometimes printed and sometimes added with a small sticker. |
