| Empire Strikes Back 3-Pack Imperial Forces (Bossk, IG-88, Hoth Stormtrooper) | |
| Here's an ominous-looking trio. They comprise one of three such 3-packs to be issued in 1980, all of which bear the bright yellow "Special Offer" sticker in their upper right corners. But unlike the Star Wars 3-packs that were released in 1979, all of which came with nifty cardboard backdrops, these ESB sets didn't come with anything particularly "special." Apparently, the figures themselves comprised the "special offer" to which the sticker refers. Even though bounty hunters Bossk and IG-88 aren't really Imperial characters, they're hitched with the Hoth Stormtrooper here in what makes for a really attractive ensemble. |
