| While most collectors are under the impression that the figures packaged in these Italian 4-packs were chosen randomly, there actually seems to be a pattern to the combinations of figures they include. Although I have never seen the combination featured here, these packs--which typically include a mix of Palitoy and Tri-Logo carded figures--are frequently found with Leia Hoth, Imperial Commander, Bib Fortuna, Cloud Car Pilot, Lumat, and Paploo, among others.
As you can probably tell from the Italian writing on the sleeve, Tri-Logo 4-packs were available in Italy, and in fact most seem to have originated in that country. Very similar items seem to have also been sold in Germany, however, these packs being identical to their Italian counterparts in every way apart from the language on their packaging. |
