| This is one of the elusive multi-figure packs offered in Canada exclusively by Sears, though the company's retail catalogs. Whereas the 4 and 8 figure packs sold by the department store chain came with figures that were simply shrinkwrapped to rather plain-looking blister cards, Jim claims that these 3-packs usually included standard Canadian carded figures, just as the one you see here does. I really love the graphics on this thing. The large ESB logo in the upper left corner, the big block lettering and the star-burst Sears badge make this a really striking package.
Here you see the back of the package, showing all the figures available in the line at that time. As you can see from a look at the image shown, it differs substantially from the backs of the larger Sears multi-figure packs. These packs are some of the scarcest of all foreign packaging variations, and they're a prize to anyone interested in collecting this type of thing. |
