| Canadian Hoth Ice Planet Playset with Special Offer Sticker: "Special Offer" versions of the Hoth Ice Planet playset were issued in both the United States and Canada. This is an example of the Canadian type. Apparently, the offer, which I suspect came through a major retailer such as Sears, was changed over the course of its run.
As you can see from this close-cup image, the original sticker, which advertised one Imperial Stormtrooper as coming with the set, was covered over with a second sticker indicating the inclusion of three figures. |
