| Death Star Space Station (Suitcase-style Opening Box) | |
| While U.S. Star Wars collectors had only the large plastic Death Star playset available to them, both plastic and cardboard versions were sold in Canada (the latter having been available exclusively at Sears). Here you see the plastic Death Star that was distributed by Kenner Canada. It features the all-over black box typically found on larger Kenner Canada toys. Also note the French text.
Here's a shot of the opened box. Interestingly, the package opens via a lid, whereas the U.S. version featured glued flaps on each box end. |
